Selkirk Copper Awards Contracts to Hatch and SRK Consulting for Minto Mine Restart

Vancouver, British Columbia and Pelly Crossing, Yukon — November 6, 2025 — Leads & Copy — Selkirk Copper Mines (TSXV: SCMI) has awarded Trade-Off Study and Engineering Work Packages to Hatch Ltd. and SRK Consulting (Canada) Inc. The work packages focus on mine planning, mining, metallurgy, facilities, and study integration, as well as water management, tailings, and waste rock management.

M. Colin Joudrie, President & CEO of Selkirk Copper, said that bringing in professionals from Hatch and SRK underscores the company’s commitment to a methodical approach for a potential restart decision at the former Minto copper-gold-silver mine in early 2027. Joudrie noted that both Hatch and SRK have experience at the site and have committed experienced personnel to the restart plan.

Mark Deziel, Global Director of Mining for Hatch Ltd., said Hatch is proud to support Selkirk Copper in developing the Minto Mine Project. He added that Hatch is committed to delivering sustainable solutions that advance the project’s success and create lasting benefits for local communities.

John Kurylo, Principal Engineer and Practice Leader with SRK Consulting (Canada) Inc., said SRK is pleased to support Selkirk Copper in investigating the restart of the Minto Mine. Kurylo noted that having been involved with the project during past phases, SRK looks forward to applying its understanding of the site characteristics in this next stage of work.

Scott Fulton, VP Projects & Engineering, said that both teams have demonstrated in-house expertise and knowledge from previously working at the Minto mine site. Fulton added that he looks forward to bringing these Trade-Off Study and Engineering Work Packages together by early Q2 2026.

Selkirk First Nation is centered in Pelly Crossing, Yukon, and is a self-governing First Nation, having signed its Final and Self-Government Agreements in 1997. Selkirk owns 4,740 square kilometers of Settlement Land. The Selkirk First Nation, indirectly, holds a controlling equity stake in Selkirk Copper.

Selkirk Copper, in partnership with the Selkirk First Nation, is completing an exploration drilling campaign and a restart and redevelopment plan for the former Minto copper-gold-silver mine. Selkirk Copper controls 26,850 hectares of prospective mineral claims located in the Minto-Carmacks copper belt as well as infrastructure, a 4,100 tonne per day processing plant, a 400-person camp, water treatment facilities, buildings, and mobile equipment centered on the former Minto copper-gold-silver mine.
